Publisher's Synopsis
Practicing teacher educators set out to explore the various meanings of the term "reflective teaching", using as examples a variety of practices that are currently being employed in inquiry-oriented preservice teacher education programmes. They analyze the different intellectual traditions and political commitments underlying the use of specific terminology and make information available to the teacher education community about the pedagogy and practices of inquiry-oriented teacher education.
