The book "Islands and silhouettes" brings together tales from different periods and different themes, but always seeking to expose the hidden motives of human psychology and the problems of relationships between people.
There are 13 stories gathered in a volume of just over 100 pages, which the reader should read at least twice - obviously, if in the first reading everything is deciphered and understood, the second reading is dispensable. they are not just short stories!
In fiction, we can talk about what we know and what we don't know, as long as what we don't know doesn't appear as something disjointed. Here's everything. What will have been experience and what will be just imagination? It's hard to know. Sometimes not even the author of the stories knows. In this sense, they are just short stories!
