The intention of this book is not to influence your decisions. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance when you examine the scriptures regardless of your previous thinking. People got so attached to the concepts of heaven and their encounter with the Creator of heaven and earth that they just wanted to be there. This was their goal. In their seeking after going to heaven, it became more about the house than the Owner of the house. Many people see themselves with their families and their pets in heaven, to get away from the things of this temporary world. They fantasize about their daily walk with God and the streets paved with gold; no more tears and reuniting with their loved ones. The questions remain: Was this the ultimate plan of God? Is this what John 14v2 all about?
