The status quo is that having a transnational child via IVF/Surrogacy is a crime in the US and India, world's most powerful democracy and world's largest democracy. A democracy in its most basic sense means representative of the people, can people like us be included? We are here to flip the script that having a child is not a crime, illegitimate actions of adults are crimes. We the children are a solution to adult infertility, not the problem and yet we are left to deal with the consequences of trying to solve infertility being stateless with loss of freedom. We cannot solve adult infertility alone and we need help. We are also people like infertile adults and deserve equal freedom in every sense including making this public plea.
