The Reverend Christopher Morgan Brookfield became an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Goochland, Virginia, in 1975, and served as associate rector from 1983 until his semi-retirement in June 2008. This book contains a collection of some of his sermons at St. Mary's as well as a very small sample of his extensive body of work beyond the small country church he loved.
