Publisher's Synopsis
This serial presents current advances and comprehensive reviews in cell biology - both plant and animal. Articles address structure and control of gene expression, nucleocytoplasmic interactions, control of cell development and differentiation, cell transformation, and growth. Coverage has been expanded to include molecular biology applied to cell biological systems, cell-cell interactions, cell surface and receptor phenomena. Special topical volumes in areas of particular growth and interest are forthcoming. These volumes will include such topics as mitochondrial genomes and the molecular biology of membrane transport.
