Sources of light have always been a focus of attention for artists. This work concerns itself with light as a manifestation of energy. Illustrated with 36 duotone plates, it uses artificial light sources in a range of settings to guide us through an imaginery and metaphorical house in which boundaries between interior and exterior, surface and space, and the abstraction of photogrphy become elements in this act of exploration.
