Publisher's Synopsis
INKY DINKY, DINKY DOO AND JELLICO
The story in this book is about Grandma Cleo's cat, Jellico, and two little mice, Inky Dinky and Dinky Doo, who live with her in a big house. The mice are afraid of Jellico (who is always watching for a time when she can chase them). Grandma tries very hard to protect the mice from the cat but once in a while the cat finds the two little mice unaware and out of Grandma's sight. Jellico takes advantage and chases them when this happens. The chase always creates a mess that Grandma has to clean up.
The author created stories about two little mice to entertain her grandchildren and neighbor children. Now that those children have become adults and have inquired, 'How are Inky Dinky and Dinky Doo", the author decided the stories should be written down and saved in book form.
This book's story holds the interest of the reader and magnifies the reader's imagination. It is an interactive story that invites the reader to participate by inviting them to hold little mice. The title is catchy and children remember the characters long after they have read the story.
