Publisher's Synopsis
Have you ever been in the darkness of the forest? Could not help yourself? Waiting on a Savior? We all probably have. Such situations are very similar to our human journey through life. Sometimes we are in the thickness of the battle, while at other times we catch glimpses of majestic, spiritual wonder along the pathways of life. Such experiences made me ponder what some call Christianity and the spiritual journey they pursue. In talking with them, regardless of whether the conversation is about the darkness or the Light of the journey, we seemingly always come back to this presence in their lives which keeps them moving forward toward the Light, in pursuit of their eternal destiny. They refer to this presence as the Holy Spirit, as if it is inside them, as if they have been baptized or filled with it, as if it is embedded in their DNA. As we allow our thoughts to wonder between our human journey and such a spiritual journey, we realize we all want to know why we are here, more about how to make our journey both valuable to ourselves and our fellow journeymen, and how we too can be filled with this inner presence or sense of other beings with us, surrounding us, routing for us, pushing us onward into the final eternal bliss. Is this what they call the "Holy Spirit" operating in their lives or is this just spiritual folklore? Will it lead us into this place of eternal completeness? We want to know. We all want to know. Let's take this journey through the forest together to fully understand what they are talking about...this Third Person, this Holy Spirit.
