Publisher's Synopsis
Ingettera is the only child of Amelia Barcelona. Amelia grew up very poor and so with Ingettera. With the bad judgement that attributed to Amelia's wrong action, she raised her daughter Ingettera on top of an abandon hill that owned by her late father Castelo Barcelona. Like her mother Amelia, Ingettera grew up stubborn. Ingettera does not have many friends but that did not matter to her. Not having friends did not stop her from going to school; she always stands her ground. Amelia is very proud of Ingettera as a daughter. She is growing up strong minded but kind and helpful. Amelia's hidden fear surrounds her past. The only wish she had is to raise Ingettera ordinarily without the trace of her Castelo's past. As the story unfolds, Ingettera's role becomes crucial to the telling of what lies beneath all the mysteries in Madera.
