Born into a conflicting world, Liu Xiang soon finds himself struggling with difficult questions about his being. This difficult beginning leads to an entire life of mental torture during which he becomes obsessed with finding out the absolute Truth. He finds out that every problem centres around the question of existence, and is really connected to one another. He is painfully distracted as he tries to deal with those bittersweet moments of his catastrophic life which he wishes would end, but nevertheless trudges bravely on; even as he flies around the world, and works with ruthless pursers like Ramesh and a quixotic colleague like Feng Ren, serving difficult passengers.
