Madeleine is living a life most people only dream of. A life of leisure and luxury. She has a rich husband, all the wine she can drink, all the pills she can pop, and all the daytime television she can stand. The only thing missing is her little furry friend, Padmé. Her cat, whose life Madeleine was accidentally responsible for ending. Her cat, who is dead and gone... but maybe not forever. When Madeleine finds out that legendary songstress and actress, Barbra Streisand has recently cloned her dead dog, she decides to have Padmé cloned as well. The procedure is a success... in a sense. The cloned cat looks like Padmé and sounds like Padmé, but there are differences. This version isn't quite as cuddly or as sweet. While the old Padmé was constantly hungry for love and affection, Madeleine and her family soon realize that the cloned version of her fur baby is hungry for something else entirely.
