I personally didn't really believe in the paranormal. Ghost, Spirits, Witchcraft, or Black Magic for that matter. My parents were highly devoted Catholics, and were always saying the devil was out there and I needed to always be aware of that. I thought they were just bat shit crazy... Until that one summer break... I wish we all would've just stayed away from a town called Fairview. More importantly I wish I could just forget it completely... but I can't... and probably never will. We hoped for a summer we'd never forget... and that's exactly what we got. It was our 4th year of college, and it was officially summer break. A few friends and I had decided to check out this five star hotel and resort that was just put up in a small town in Maine called Fairview. It had everything. 2 large pools on the outside, 2 on the inside, a big gym, three lounges, a breathtaking view of the countryside, and last but not least, room service. 8 days of good times and relaxation. That was the plan anyways. Instead we got a living nightmare. My name is Ben Cambridge, and this is my story.
