Why are you reading this book? We have to assume that the title interested or challenged you. Universal experiences tend to reinforce the knowledge that all men are brothers and that the spiritual man triumphs in the end.
Someone has wisely said that there are in the end only two motives for action. We act "in spite of" something or "because of" it. In reality, the two are one, for determination to overcome, to conquer, to demonstrate power depends upon
the ability to sense the need and the awareness of potential power to meet it. The end result is the same whether we act in spite of opposition or because of encouragement.
