Publisher's Synopsis
The novel corona virus sneaked into America in the early 2020, and slowly spread its deadly web across the country. The governor gave stay at home orders to lower the risk of the spread. Overnight my school closed and switched to online learning. My parents were working from home, my busy school and social life came to a halt. The doors of my home closed, as if the keys were lost. The only window that was open was the TV and internet, that brought news and views of this new monstrous disease that was slowly engulfing human kind. I was scared, nervous, unsure, sad, curious, and angry. Although the virus had curbed my freedom and thrown me into shelter-in-place, it cannot curb my imagination, creativity and reason. I led then run wild, unabated and unbridled. My thoughts and feelings about COVID-19 slowly took shape into 45 poems and illustrations.Majority of the proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards charity for COVID-19 relief.
