A tribute to the life of Rev. Dr. John Moreville Richmond who served as the pastor of the Pittsburgh Shadyside Presbyterian Church from 1881 to 1888. From this church's origin, he served as its second pastor. It follows his life from his Ontario birth through his education starting with the Galt Collegiate Institute, the University of Toronto, and Edinburgh's Divinity Hall. It continues showing the several churches that he served, including the Hoge Presbyterian Church in Columbus, the Shadyside Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, the Central Presbyterian Church in Louisville, The First Church in Princeton, KY, The Fourth Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN, and the Ormond Union Church in Ormond Beach, FL.
