There were large possibilities of beauty in Happy Hollow, and as I write they have been employed, and the dear old town is beautiful.
On that day in the early autumn when I left the railroad train at the station half a mile or more away from the town I was carried into Happy Hollow in an ancient and battered omnibus owned by the Metro politan Hotel.
