Publisher's Synopsis
Something seizes your spirit, mind, and body, then to have to bring this to expression is a process inherent for creativity. Likened to inspiration, I feel the first line of verse and run to fetch a pen and notebook. Seems simple, yet to know what is written is beyond my own comprehension. For I started writing, beginning with this must-write, every day and sometimes many-a-day verse, without the casual leisure given to a picnic or walk in a park. You just have to do what you just have to do, when the moment is, is not predictable. I truly believe that the great poet Emily Dickinson had it right when she said 'a word misplaced on a page breeds infection'. There are avenues in life that send us spiraling into an entirely separate fields of study, occupations, sports, anything humanly possible, or may I be so bold, as we all do the impossible, both noble and great to the worst offenses. 'Life is too broad to define'. All this writing is through myself, may perhaps have little to do with me as an individual. There are accumulated into over twelve-hundred verses and some short stories, essays, many an arduous night and day. And if I could live a thousand lives to continue creating, might only scratch the surface of the breadth of a universe of creativity. For isn't everything given for a reason? I will leave you with that little tidbit of my opinion, give or take, rich or poor, creed, gender, all walks of life, are infinitely valuable to the endless expanse we observe in the wonderment of a starry night, the presence of nature, included within confines of are mortal existence. Be that as it may, please enjoy these works as if you found it on a path in the forest, nameless, without cause nor affect. Just enjoy. As our lives are something greater than perception, precious beyond our simple yet infinite grasp.
