Publisher's Synopsis
The British Museum (Natural History) has one of the most important collections of fleas in the world, based on N C Rothschild's original collection. This is the complete catalogue of these fleas, which represent some 90% of the 2000 known species world-wide, and is a work of identification seldom equalled in the field of taxonomy. It gives keys and descriptions for the identification of families, genera, species and subspecies, and is illustrated with many detailed drawings.
