In the not so quiet streets of Chicago, Illinois, the name Donovan "Donny" Kirkwood, holds weight in the ring and in the streets. After his father died, Donny took over the family's business running the boxing gym he opened many years ago. Another thing he inherited was the drug empire he left behind to his only son. Donny was juggling being the King of the streets, his amateur boxing career and being a father to his 5-year-old daughter DeeDee perfectly until he met the beautiful Lovely Harris. A relationship was out of the question for him, but his attraction to Lovely was too much to ignore. Lovely Harris is what you call a free spirit. Being the youngest of four with three older brothers, she's been spoiled her entire life. Her older brothers gave her any and everything she wanted, except space to grow and learn from her mistakes. Taking a leap of faith, Lovely decides to open a new salon to prove her independence to her brothers and everyone else around her. When Lovely first met Donny, it was love at first sight, and she knew that's where she wanted to be. But, is Donny's crazy lifestyle too much for her to handle or does Lovely prove she's not the princess everyone thinks she is. Arianne "Aria" Harris is Lovely's cousin and newfound business partner. She moved to Illinois from Mississippi to jump start her career as a hairstylist. Even though Arianne moved to a new state for her career, she met Chuck and fell in love with him and the way that he catered to her. Others say that their relationship moved fast, but she wouldn't have had it any other way. Chuck is Donny's best friend and right-hand man in the game. He handles all the dirty work, so Donny can focus on his boxing career. When Chuck was single he didn't care about the long hours he spent out making money. But with a new relationship he's trying to hold on to, He starts to think if it's worth it since he has more to lose. But, did he make that decision too late?
