Publisher's Synopsis
In 1939 Berlin, after a 14-year old member of the resistance hides her young Jewish girlfriends in her mother's attic, she learns that her mother's fiancé, an S.S. Colonel, is tasked with destroying a ghetto and all its inhabitants including her friend's parents. When the colonel discovers the Jewish girls in his fiancé's hiding place, he ships them off to the ghetto to be with their parents and kills his fiancé for lying to him. It's then that our hero realizes that she must risk her life and the life of her friends in the resistance to save hundreds of Jewish children from the holocaust. Inspired by real events.
