This book is comprised of poems and essays written to honor and/or acknowledge the memory of someone or something, such as a family member, a friend, an acquaintance, a pet, a church, a school, a quilt and other focuses in our lives. Many of these memorials, which were written over the years, were written specifically to be read at a funeral or memorial service for someone. Tributes were written to be presented at special programs or celebrations. Many tributes were written by request. and are so noted.
