For large companies who file full accounts, the number of employees, their average pay and the average sales per employee are quoted. This should help in the assessment of productivity and whether it has improved.;All the data provided covers a three-year period so that growth and change in individual companies can be monitored, while a geographical index divides all companies into their respective postcodes for regional analysis and comparison.;In addition to the financial information, there are contact details which include address, telephone number and names of directors. Also, the principal activities of each company are given together with whether a company is independent or is the subsidiary of a holding company.
