1899-1900 Wales. Phoebe continues to battle her mother-in-law while preparing for a court appearance to keep her uncle's greedy hands off her inheritance. Parker's brother comes home from the war, and the three of them engage in some amateur sleuthing to find out why Phoebe's uncle wants the land so desperately.
