This interactive CD-ROM and photocopiable file covers the ICT requirements of the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3. It shows how to use ICT to meet all three attainment targets effectively and how to concentrate on developing skills in English as well as in ICT. The photocopiable file includes advice on using ICT in the classroom, while the CD-ROM includes a section on setting up the computer. The CD-ROM contains activities on creating, transforming and reading texts. It also teaches specific ICT skills and contains a resource bank of images which students can use when completing the activities. Charts in the photocopiable file track students' progress. The photocopiable file contains clear explanations for each of the activities, so students know exactly how to complete the activities and what they are trying to achieve. Self-assessment sheets also help them to chart their own progress.
