About the Book

I Swear by Apollo... provides a fascinating and detailed perspective on the link between classical mythology and clinical medicine, highlighting how much these myths of old influence contemporary thinking when it comes to understanding, diagnosing, and treating disease. This book is thought-provoking for both established physicians and laypeople alike, and uncovers many insights into the ideology of modern medicine. "It also underscores the inviolability of fundamental laws of science and mathematics and their linkages to clinical disease states."
