Growing up in Watts, California, Cree and her homegirls were just trying to make it how they could to get out of the hood. With backstabbers, drama, and heartache in the way, it's a task reaching their number one goal; having a successful career and finding the love of their lives. Chresha also known as Cree, was still trying to figure out her career goals with her close friends while dealing with her unfaithful boyfriend, Tracy. Cree knew she deserved better when it came to love, but Tracy was all she'd known since her junior year in high school. Tracy continued to let women come into their relationship, and try and take Cree's place, so she got fed up and decided to call everything off with Tracy. That's when she found out that the hood king, Travis, had a thing for her. Travis was running the streets of LA, getting money, and building his operation into something unstoppable. Although he had his eyes on Cree, he knew there would be problems if he tried to make Cree his lady because he and Tracy were half-brothers. Travis's only concern was making Cree his wife and making her a better woman. He admired her ambitious attitude and knew her passion for singing. That was all she talked about and dreamed of. But while he was stepping over his brother to get to his girl, there's a woman that thought she was better than Cree, and she could steal Travis's heart before Cree even got the chance. Cree and her two best friends, Alexis and Renay, were given the opportunity to live their lives like their favorite music artists, but with happiness comes drama. When the spotlight is turned on these hood girls turned superstars, will the girls remain friends? Will Cree and Travis be free to be with each other? Or will another woman come in and ruin everything?
