In the sequal to "The boy from beyond", Reed is on his way to find his Crimson dragon together with his chosen companion, the mage Seiverin. What starts out as a slow and confusing search with little or no clues soon becomes a violent and possible fatal meeting with horrifying enemies and dark temptations. Back in the Crimson capitol, Harkwun fights for justice, something that will not come easy, while courtiers now consider him nothing but someone to make time pass with in any way they choose, for ignoring or toying with.
