While this specific issue will highlight the beauty and strength of incredible people of color, I Am Unashamed on a whole represents global healing through release of anything that may keep us bound. It's about testimonies of power and perseverance from individuals who are not afraid of what the world may think of them, because the greater good of saving their fellow brother or sister is worth more to them than what the world may think. To these individuals having the opportunity to be the one who evokes change is worth it. The opportunity to encourage someone in their time of need is worth it. And most importantly, the opportunity to free themselves of the things that try and keep them bound by sharing their story is so absolutely worth it. That is what I Am Unashamed Magazine has been, and will always be about - Glorifying God, and changing lives through our individual journeys.As stated before, this issue in particular is something special. It will consist of a campaign where seven beautiful African-American models, who represent every aspect of who we are, showcase their collective power in a pictorial of elegance, grace, style and strength who will show the world that their beauty is unique, and it is most certainly undeniably and without a doubt beautiful. In addition to the beauty campaign, this issue will highlight individual stories from a host of intriguing men and women, who are artists, change-makers, trainers, and entrepreneurs. From the 93 and 91 year old man and woman who will share almost a century of wisdom and knowledge to an insanely talented young man who refused to let a wheelchair dictate his ability to be great. This issue is sure to bring the reader to a place of boldness about what one must do to be great in their own right.
