Publisher's Synopsis
Imaginative children never dream of growing up to be a doormat. I was the ground beneath his feet. Fighting back the memories only caused a sudden painful reemergence of my past. I can't time travel back to my early twenties, but I can reclaim myself from the depths of my shell. This poetry collection is a stream of consciousness chronicling: random thoughts, the battle against depression, flashbacks of an abusive relationship, and learning to embrace my hidden traits.
