As the worldwide search for cancer treatment continues, interest in hyperthermic oncology grows stronger. This two volume set forms the proceedings of the 5th International Symposium on Hyperthermic Oncology which was held in Kyoto, Japan, from 29 August to 3rd September 1988.;This latest symposium provides an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of recent experimental and theoretical results from the viewpoint of biology, physics, engineering and clinical medicine.
