Food is especially dear to me since it is universally relatable and there are so many different forms, textures, shapes, and colors to try to replicate. When sculpting food in 1:4 scale, where one inch equals four inches, I render clay sculptures with acute attention to minute details when representing their real-life counterparts. Polymer clay is an ideal medium since it is readily molded into a wide range of food substances.The present collection contains examples of my steakhouse theme.
