Publisher's Synopsis

Frank's new book "Hunt for Survival" is a thrilling story of survival by two combat veterans of the Gulf war who have become avid archery hunters. Pursuing the majestic bull elk in the northwest region of Montana was the dream hunt of a life time. Massive bull elk thrived in this region's beautiful landscape. Delivery by helicopter to the remote mountains of the Kootenai forest brings challenges they never imagined. Survival would depend on the ability to draw upon their Special Forces training during the Gulf War. It is the dream hunt that becomes a nightmare. Twenty years have passed since Hank and Ted encountered each other during the Gulf War. They discover each other share a passion for archery hunting. Although Ted has only hunted deer he is invited to hunt elk with Hank. Hank and his wife, Sara, have adopted a black son, Lamont, who is now a senior in college. Lamont has also become an avid archery elk hunter. Ted, Hank and Lamont have a brief hunt in the Colorado Rockies to introduce Ted to elk hunting. The story continues with Ted and Hank deciding to engage a guide service to hunt elk in the remote mountains of northwest Montana. Ted invites his nephew, Sam, who is Jewish. A helicopter is needed to reach the remote hunting area. Little did they know a Neo-Nazi training camp is just a few miles away. Sam and Lamont are captured by men from the Neo-Nazi camp. Hank and Ted search for Lamont and Sam where upon they discover them in the Nazi camp. The veil of their Special Forces training descends upon Ted and Hank as they plan the rescue of Sam and Lamont.
