Publisher's Synopsis

This is the third title in the Oxford Medical Database Series, under the general editorship of Dr Michael Baraitser and Professor Robin Winter. The database has been compiled by Dr Albert Schinzel of the Institute of Medical Genetics in Zurich. The Cytogenetics Database enables you to retrieve clinical and cytogenetic data relating to any given chromosome aberration. Aberrations may be selected on the basis of a list of clinical features. The data may be extended by adding your own data. The Human Cytogenetics Database is of particular importance to clinical geneticists caring for patients with chromosome aberrations, cytogeneticists, and gene mappers studying the effects of deletions and duplications on the clinical phenotype.
