In dedicating these Sketches to you, I desire to testify my recognition of the valuable assistance you have afforded in giving me the benefit of your own researches respecting our common ancestor, the Huguenot Daniel Gu�rin, and his descendants; the possession of which was the inducement for gathering further particulars, which led to the compiling of these records of the family of Gu�rin, which I trust may be of interest to all connected with the name.
