Alec's book was the #1 seller at the book fair, and he donated all proceeds from the fair to the school for school projects. When a local news station picked up the story his book took off. After appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, CNN, and radio stations throughout the US, Alec worked with a local binding company to produce hard and soft cover books. As the demand and proceeds increased, Alec decided to donate to additional charitable causes, including Susan G.
