As there is no limitation prescribed by the Patent Office as to who shall act as attorney in the prosecution of a case, the papers may be prepared by the inventor, or by any one he shall appoint. AS the value of the protection Which a patent affords depends upon the skill and care with which the papers are drawn up, they should not be attempted until the inventor thoroughly. Understands the methods and practice. The Office practice requires regular forms to be followed in all cases. (see appendix.)
