In How the Spider Ate the Moon, you play as someone bereft of who they are, for something terrible has been wrought upon them. It is down to you, the player, to undo this wrong, seek out the reason for it, find out who you are, and decide the fate of Mirrah in the process.

To achieve these trivialities, you will need to explore the very same Mirrah, a mythical city-state at the heart of the Sahraan desert: there will be friends and foes, trials and tribulations, wonders to gape at, and horrors to cower from.
You will need to make many decisions and follow many paths, in classic gamebook style -yet with a few 'videogamey' twists, such as a tutorial to guide you, action sections to entice you, and checkpoints to aid you.
