The candy cane is a wonderful Christmas treat that Santa, and his elves, created many years ago in his North Pole kitchen. It was winter-white and delicious. But, after years of plain white, Santa was ready for a new look. Santa's art contest would determine the design that would be placed on the canes. Everyone in the North Pole village wanted to enter.
