Publisher's Synopsis
In a piece of music (any song), the way chords are placed one after the other, is called a chord progression. The chords in a progression have different harmonic functions (they feel different). Some chords provide Stability, some the Departure, and some provide dynamic Tension.
This is not a very long book. I don't want to bore you to death with musical theory. I just want to quickly teach you the basics of chords so you can spice up your electronic tracks. Chords are very simple and it is essential to know how they work to write your music or to be able to figure out the chords of music you hear on the radio, to play it yourself. It's an easy skill to learn and if you know what chords go together and why it's even easier to learn.
