Newly single and recently unemployed Charlie Price wants nothing more than to ignore the crumbling pieces of her life. With dwindling savings and no luck in the job market, she's on the verge of giving up. That is until a drunken night with her best friend leads to an accidental application to join the cast of the riveting reality show, House of Deceit-a show notorious for its fierce contestants and enticing cash prize.
Alec King, a disillusioned wrangler on the show, dreams of escaping his stagnant career and becoming a director. Choosing the season ten winner could be his ticket to success, and Charlie Price seems like the man to get him there. But there's a major problem-Charlie's application landed in the wrong pile, and since male wranglers cannot correspond with female contestants, their plans could go up in smoke. Despite the mix-up, Charlie and Alec realize they are each other's best chance to win the show, even if they can't seem to stop clashing at every turn.
