Publisher's Synopsis
Traffic was heavy this morning as I sat on the front porch. Folks use our road as a cut through going to work and in about a week school traffic with buses as well as cars. One truck brought a smile to my face as it came by. It was a propane truck; fully load in route to fill tanks. The driver was Chester. Chester is a guy that fills our tank. Chester is the reason I use this particular propane company. I am sure there are other propane companies maybe even a lower price, but Chester doesn't work there. Do not even know Chester's last name, but his demeanor and attitude bubbles over with joy and happiness. He tells stories of the old south, being raised on a farm. I'm guessing his age to be late 70's or early 80's. He's a slight man, wiry, wrinkled, but full of life. He works from early Spring to late Fall, and then sits by the fire during winter. I make sure to buy our propane according to his schedule. He not only fills my propane tank, he also fills my tank with so much joy. He makes my day. Scripture lets us know that, we too, can have Springs of living water, full and running over to bless others with joy that only He can give... John 4:10.As he drove by, my focus, my prayer became... Lord make me a Chester, bring joy to those around me. Amen.Blessings.
