Publisher's Synopsis
In the deserts of California, where the dusty land can't absorb anymore sun and reflects it back, lives the community made of Gods and Beasts. They appear in different shapes such as outlaws or outcasts, some as singers and artists, and some as spiritual beings with a touch of madness. Despite the harsh conditions they coexist almost peacefully.
Ten million people who live within two hours reach have unintentionally created these phenomena. The community is completely off the grid. Solar panels provide little electricity but getting water is the biggest challenge. No rent, no infrastructure of any kind, and no written laws, just free spirits running around and being the best they can. The pure fact of their non-violent existence made me question the role of governments. It seems they are more connected to this universal consciousness than me I guess. The law of the land is different here so is the sky. New dimensions are being conquered here by mixing drugs and alcohol with philosophy. The songs and music set you free, it makes you want to live forever or die many times.

I think some of us were new and never heard this story, but the ones who did were more excited than the rest of us.
The man with the beard had a noble look; he kind of looked like a medieval king, perfectly fitting into the background of the fire. Everything was real and genuine, and I was grateful just to be there.
Everybody was ready and waiting, the Man threw a big chunk of wood into the heart of fire, in the background of fire sparks I've noticed that the story has already begun...
