Henry1 adams of Braintree, Mass., came to New England from Braintree, County of Essex, England, with his wife, eight sons and a daughter, in 1632 or 1633, and settled near Mt. Wollaston, Braintree, now Quincy, where some of his descend ants, among whom were the presidents, John and John Quincy Adams, have since continued to reside.
