Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from History of the Relationship and Descendants of Jacob and Catherine Horner in the United States, From 1777 to 1914
We have not, however, attempted so much, for we well know we would not succeed in such an undertaking.
But in this little contribution to the history of the Horner family, we may perhaps with the assistance of others prepare a volume that will be satisfactory within its limits.
We must depend for facts upon the assist ance of others, who can tell us of their children or other relatives, contemporary with them.
We seek not only dates but some information regarding personal appearance of some one, his manners, habits and peculiarities.
Then the difficulty thickens, and we must be content to get the merest glimpses and with the less important incidents of the life.
