We desire to return our grateful thanks to Mr. Joseph Lawrence for much information, and kind assistance; to the Rev. A. \v. Eaton, New York, for kindly furnishing for perusal ms. Copies of early reports of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, as well as to acknowledge our indebtedness to Mr. Eaton's recent book, The Church in Nova Scotia and to An Historical Sketch of the First Fifty Years of the Church of England, in the Province of New Brunswick, by Mr. G. Herbert Lee.
The work of compiling, and editing this History has been done by the Rector, as a labour of love, who trusts that it mav prove of deep interest, and tend to the glory of God.
