A word in regard to the portraits of the teachers.* Several of them have been recently taken, and I fear some of our older scholars will fail to recognize in them the teachers of their youth. Thetruth is, we all greatly change by advancing years, and had we not seen our faces in a mirror since we were young, we should, as strangers, have to be introduced to ourselves.
