Publisher's Synopsis
Written in simple verse, three poems invite the reader to learn about the third city in Pennsylvania, the wives of modern American Presidents, and the meaning of friendship. Chip and Chirp, Mourning Dove friends, are viewed revisiting historical people and places in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Modern American First Ladies (Roosevelt to Bush 43) in Washington, D.C. Intermittently, the doves return to interject fowl comments.
