This coursebook is part of a suite of resources for the Upper Secondary History course. The learning opportunities in this coursebook will enable students to explore the key events and forces that shaped the 20th century world from the 1870s to the outbreak of World War II in the later 1930s. This includes a deepened appreciation and understanding of the rich histories of the Atlantic and the Asia-Pacific, and in particular Southeast Asia. Students will also develop their understanding of history as a discipline through the learning of key historical skills and concepts.
