The advent of Professor Allen to the principal ship relieved him of much labor and anxiety, and it is pleasant to know that not only with him but with all the other principals, he labored harmoniously and effect ively. All who were friends of the school could count upon his friendship, and any and every opponent was sure to eu Counter his condemnation. His interest in the welfare of the school has never abated, although circumstances pre vent his active participation in its management.
